Nodes of term Pop Bottle Geysers
The Explorers investigage nucleation, which is the process of forming bubbles that carbon dioxide molecules in soda pop do when they are given a rough surface to cling to. The Explorers discover that a few of the candies known as Mentos provide such an ideal rough surface that a 2-liter bottle of pop turns into a miniature geyser that shoots up to 15 feet high.
